Christopher Madeiros

President and Co-Founder

An accomplished author of two books focusing on social justice and political liberation, Christopher Madeiros brings vast experience in local advocacy despite being only 16 years old. Given his credentials as a 3x National Debate Champion, Lumiere Research scholar, Worlds Public Speaker and Bermuda’s very own Youth Premier, the consistent motivation that Madeiros holds in uplifting the voices of other young Bermudians led him to founding the Bermuda Youth Civic Union with the goal of ultimately helping others form a platform dedicated to structural and systemic change for the island’s young people.

Evan Davis

Vice President and Co-Founder

As a Sustainability Prefect at his school and an advocate for the environment and the joys of sailing, Evan Davis is deeply passionate about serving his community and environment. Davis serves as a co-founder of the Bermuda Youth Civic Union, utilizing his own experiences in environmental advocacy to inspire young people in Bermuda to become politically and environmentally mobile.
