The Bermuda Youth Civic Union is a political platform where young Bermudians who are passionate about making meaningful change can unite behind a common goal of changing the status quo in Bermuda.
Our vision is to form an enduring and thriving youth-led independent political forum where young people in Bermuda feel empowered to advocate regarding issues they feel passionate about. We aim to fundamentally reshape Bermuda’s political climate to better incorporate the viewpoints and perspectives of young people in how Bermuda is governed and structured.
Mission Statement
The Bermuda Youth Civic Union (BYCU) is a youth-led civic organization dedicated to amplifying the voices of young Bermudians in political spheres and public life. Through research, advocacy, community service and civic engagement, we seek to contribute towards positive change in education, social justice, healthcare, youth affairs and overall government policy-making and legislation.
